S5 - 14 - Reloading Room Tour, Part 1 of 2
Precision rifle shooters frequently reload their own ammunition to achieve the most consistent and accurate performance from their rifles. The side-hobby of reloading ammo also results in the accumulation of reloading components, supplies, equipment, tools, and accessories. All of this needs to be organized and stored in a space to facilitate the reloading process.
In this two part episode, Steve of the 6.5 Guys, provides a "behind the scenes look" at the production of 6.5 Guys videos, by facilitating an informal (impromptu) tour of the workshop/studio and his reloading room.
Part one of this episode looks at the 6.5 Guys studio and sound stage (Steve’s Garage) where many of the channel’s episodes are recorded. The viewer is shown what’s on the benches and the cabinets and how this space is used, with particular attention to reloading and gear storage.
Part two of this episode takes the viewer on a detailed tour of Steve’s recently remodeled (late summer of 2018) reloading room and reloading bench upgrades. The viewer is shown how things are organized, and an overview of the reloading tools, gear, and equipment he currently uses (as of Jan. 2019).
