Russell Dobular disrupts Ben Stiller book talk and asks Rachel @maddowshow to denounce Netanyahu and defend her Muslim colleagues who were sidelined at @MSNBC.

Ben Stiller said, “We are not here to talk about that.” That’s kind of the problem.

The thing is Rachel talks inexorably about Putin and his occupation and dehumanization of Ukrainians. She waxes poetic about the ingenuity of their resistance. She gets emotional.

She connects with oppressed people from all over the world and gives them a voice. She tears down demagogues, and dictators, and calls out ethnic-cleansing. She shows up as a empathetic intelligent human when she interviews them. But somehow, the occupation, Apartheid and obscene genocide of Palestinian people, she can’t comprehend.

I’d imagine millions of young Americans see this… as she so often says, as a “dereliction of duty”.

I’m really just asking, why? The way she talks about children who are massacred in mass shootings at the US seems so emotive and sincere.

I’d really just like to see her do that once about the 1,000 Palestinian children Israel has murdered this past week, many while they were sleeping, in their beds, probably mourning a dead cousin, or uncle or aunt.
