FLAT diamond stones (25% - This number is often misunderstood, 25% is the standard amount of diamonds the sharpening stones. They also make them in 50% which = 2x the diamonds, and 75% which is 3x the diamonds, and 100% which is 4X the diamonds as the standard sharpening stones.)

I have used many types of diamond stones in the past. Most of which have a cross-hatch pattern or dotted pattern of some sort on the surface. None of those have been as useful as the VENEV stones. I most highly recommend the VENEV brand

On the right side of the page you select the type - CS-HD (or other if you want)
And then you select eitehr the Standard Kit or Fine Grit kit. Standard is 5 stones 150 to 600 and Fine Grit is 6 stones 320 to 1200. I buy BOTH kits. I wish they had one kit with all grits.
