I’ve always been fascinated by the timelines we are presented with when researching the Old World. One of the more interesting time periods to me is that time period from the 1400’s through the early 1600’s. During this time, we see a renaissance of sorts in the advanced architecture being found throughout the world.

Today we will focus on the years of roughly 1570 to 1620, specifically in the land of England. Prodigy Homes are said to be massive houses constructed for the “possible” arrival of Queen Elizabeth I (at least according to the current narrative).

In this video we will take a look at the oldest photographs I could find of the most well known (and still standing) Prodigy Homes from the 1500’s and 1600’s, while briefly discussing the current narrative.

This is simply Part 1 - An intro of sorts to Prodigy Homes. I hope to have a more in depth Part 2 for you very soon. I will provide time stamps below for a more detailed viewing experience. Enjoy!
