Violence, arson, stone throwing were reported from several places in east and north-east Delhi on a day when US President Donald Trump began his 36-hour India visit. According to reports, four persons, including a cop, were killed in the violence. Pro and anti-citizenship protesters also clashed on Sunday after BJP leader Kapil Mishra held a pro-CAA rally in the area. Did Delhi Police not have prior inputs about possibility of protests in the city? Amidst tight security for a VVIP visit, how did mobs manage to indulge in arson and violence?
