POWERFUL HURRICANE HITS SAO JOSE DOS CAMPOS, BRAZIL. STORM WIND 110 KM/H (68 MPH)
An intense convective storm, also called a supercell, formed over São José dos Campos, in the state of São Paulo, this week. The storm started around 6 pm on Tuesday and caused several damage in the city. The intense rain brought flooding to several points. Gusts of 110 km / h were recorded and the impressive formation of a tornado in the city. More than two hundred trees were uprooted, vehicles fell, several buildings were damaged and neighborhoods were left without power. Teams were still working on removing trees and restoring electricity on Wednesday. The lack of electricity has also resulted in water shortages in several regions of São José dos Campos.
