Portable Backup Generator Wiring Setup

Here is the way that our Portable Backup Generator is wired up in the event that the power goes out at the Bottom of the Barrel (Which had happened around late July) it all looks primitive but anyone who has knowledge of electrical wiring (Like a trained electrician) can do this safely. Just remember to switch the main breaker off before you do this and switch certain additional breakers off as well to avoid overloading the generator. They are three Breaker boxes used by the Bottom of the Barrel the main 200 Amp breaker box 1 100 Amp breaker box going into the basement and a 70 Amp breaker box going into the Garage (Which the generator gets wired into) with both the smaller boxes coming from the main Breaker Box in the Laundry Room.
