Polishing the rails and other key areas of your pistol.mp4

This video caused some controversy on another video sharing platform. People said you have to marry the slide and rails, polishing is a waist of time and so on... I think, anything polished works better especially when you can feel a difference when you pull the slide back. I hear and feel a noticeable difference so how can it be bad. I let the slide and rails "Marry" over many hundreds of rounds and then only removed sharp edges and rough spots and then polished the rails. I think the proof is in the pudding on this one. A Shield is not like a P320. The P320 has very precise rails that do not need to be "Married" to the slide and you can see this because the rails do not get scraped on the P320 the way they do on the Shield.
