Phone Skope Spotting Scope and Binoculars Review

The Phone Skope is an ingenuitive product, I think. It allows you to record photos and video on several different optics. I tried mine out on a cheap Winchester spotting scope and Vortex Diamondback binos, and it worked great. I was able to capture some decent video and pictures once I got familiar with how to use the device.

I had trouble getting my phone setup properly to make sure I had a good picture. The problem is I wanted the phone and the zoom on the spotting scope to sit exactly how I wanted them, and the weight of my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 just didn't allow it, it seems. The weight would force the eyepiece to rotate farther than I wanted if I had it horizontal. Perhaps it's just my binos and spotting scope. Maybe others are stiffer and don't rotate as easily. Either way, it was a small inconvenience for the ability to capture some nice shots later if I want.

Overall I really like the product. It's solid, made in the USA, lifetime warranty, and can be pretty useful at times.
