Our Current Year is 50 AD (Philip K. Dick and Waking Life)

The Book of Acts takes place directly after the Gospels (which conclude with Jesus Christ's resurrection.) The Book of Acts is the last narrative in the Bible and this meshes well with Philip K. Dick's theory that proposes the current year is in fact 50 AD. I find the concept intriguing that time is an illusion created by a demiurge to distract humanity from remembering that Christ's return is imminent.
