Here’s what you need to know about how the rules are changing across the province, including Toronto:
Gatherings: Indoor gatherings are prohibited except with household members. People living alone can gather with one other household exclusively. Outdoor gatherings are limited to five people (previously 10 in Toronto).
Religious, wedding and funeral services are limited to 15 per cent capacity indoors and as many as can properly distance outdoors.
Gyms: All gyms and fitness centres are closed and outdoor fitness classes and training are cancelled.
Personal care services: Closed everywhere (Toronto salons and other services were told they could open on April 12, not anymore).
Restaurants: All indoor and outdoor service is closed. This includes patios in Toronto, which just opened. Delivery, takeout and drive-thru are open.
Retail stores: All retail stores can remain open, including non-essential businesses, with capacity limits. Groceries, convenience stores and pharmacies will be limited to 50 per cent capacity.
All other retail, including big-box retailers, will be limited to 25 per cent. Sports and recreation: All facilities closed except for daycare purposes. Golf courses, which only opened in Toronto on Thursday, will be closed. Cinemas (including drive-ins), theatres and casinos will be closed.

More details can be viewed on the province’s website https://covid-19.ontario.ca/zones-and-restrictions under the “shutdown” category.
