Only On Gods Terms, You Can't Bargain

Let Us Reason Together

I want to talk to you about bargaining with God.

Have you ever made a deal with God, God if you’ll rescue me I’ll never do it again? The drunk hurling into the toilet.

I have made that deal more times than I can count only to fail to keep my end of the bargain.

Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Isa 1:20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

People you can’t bargain with God?

Bargain = an agreement between two or more parties as to what each party will do for the other, to negotiate the terms and conditions of a transaction.

The reason you can’t bargain with God, because you have nothing to offer, and you have absolutely no way of upholding your part of that bargain?

You have to come to God on His terms, period, no if’s, and’s, or but’s?

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s terms, believe, repent, and receive forgiveness and eternal life.

Even if you don’t believe what I’m saying, you believe what I’m saying.

Even if you reject the truth of what I’m saying, there is rooted within you a conviction you can suppress with your mind but it is within your heart none the less. Which is telling you these things are so.
