Here you can find a beautiful meditation on the antiphon " O Oriens":

Latin:

O Oriens,
splendor lucis aeternae, et sol justitiae:
veni, et illumina sedentes in tenebris, et umbra mortis.

From 17 to 23 December, the Liturgy sings the beautiful "O Antiphons" of the Magnificat. Each of them begins with one of the titles with which the Old Testament invokes the longed-for Messiah, and ends with the acclamation "Veni" (Come). They have been known since at least the 7th century.
