What a story! Thanks for the share. Seems most of the time they help reconnect with the mother but not father. Might be some new ways with facial recognition to find probable father matches and put it out there if you ever want. Had a 80 year old grand father in Oxnard California who needed help finding his father after being adopted and the Canadian government will not even say where his father is buried or when.
Offering what you can to your mother in terms of shelter for survival and vacation and using her to locate and bring together more family could also lead to finding out more about who she was with at the time of your conception. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and I did have a 60 year old who helps children emancipate from their abusive foster parents who is in Lake Shasta now. Sean Conner (sp) out of Oxnard California was given a house by his foster mother and is great to talk to.

I'm adopted and my adoptive family has deemed me unworthy due to my "racist and antisemitic" views. I was happy to get in touch with my biological mother a few years ago but I haven't been able to reach her in about 4 months. She's even worse off than me, though it was wonderful to talk to someone who I can relate to because, well, I am related to them lol
