You can make Chromium Vanadium alloys that would tolerate the heat. So glad you are showing this video. I have been trying to draw attention to this fact, also, for quite some time: that the materials that they said they used cannot withstand the temperatures. Further proving this fact is that the higher you go from sea level the less energy required to achieve those threshold states. So, even lower temperatures are required to melt the hull.
