Mosin Slackless Trigger - Not 'Return Spring' method
In this video I remove the slack on the Mosin Nagant by bending the sear. I recommend you get a replacement sear to practice on, but if you are gentle and don't bend it too far, your sear should not break.
The trigger weight doesn't change from what I can tell, but I have not actually measured it, so I am not sure how the weight will be affected by this modification. I can let you know that the trigger feels crisper, quicker when the sear is bent this way.
If you do decide to make this or any other sear/trigger modification, please test your unloaded rifle for misfires before firing live ammo.
However, I am not responsible for any injuries or problems this may cause. you can do this at your own risk, regardless of how little risk there is.
