Where ant colonies start. The last part of the video shows the amazing amount of ants
in just a few days as you can see by the grass blades.

Large ½ to 3/4 inch in size, black and red in design, the Harvester Ants ride on the wind and
fly in unison from every ant hill. All these ants emerge at the same time also by design and are,
as our ½ acre parcel shows, quite numerous.
So ants I thought were usually out to enter our homes, which some do.
These ants are great foragers and actually clean up seeds and stubble, actually anything edible.

The monsoon season was sort of a disappointment with rainfall but I notice the insects are
able to understand the first rise in humidity and rain and out they come.

DUSTY SAYS, "Yikes, be careful they bite..".
