This is a 1/16" bore and stroke micro steam engine similar to the Thimble Power Plant by Dr. James Senft. In addition to being not nearly as compact as Dr. Senft's engine the main difference in the design is that were Senft's engine greatly minimizes the torque moment caused by the reaction force on the piston this design completely eliminates it.

This engine can be adjusted to run for 10 minutes on 1cc of water and once the boiler is empty and starts to cool it will actually run backwards for about 20 seconds as the internal volume contracts!
Unfortunately I have no way of measuring RPM. It makes a high pitched noise reminiscent of a mosquito.
