Man recovering in Utah after mauled by grizzly bear while deer tracking in Montana

A Montana man is recovering in Utah after a grizzly bear attacked him while he was tracking deer.

This happened over the weekend in the Buck Ridge Yellow Mule area, near Big Sky, Mont. As of Monday evening, the surrounding area was closed as wildlife officials continue to search for the bear involved in the incident.

Rudy Noorlander’s sister, Kary Noorlander-Lyman, said he’s self-employed and owns a business where he rents side-by-sides to people. This weekend, a dad and son asked him to help them track a deer.
