I'm reloading the first .44 Special hollow point for the Powder Coated Cast Lead Hollow Point Bullet Testing series. This series is a long experiment testing powder coated cast lead hollow point bullets made from various alloys and fired at various velocities.

In this video I go through the process of figuring out the Unique powder charge for the Keith SWC .44 Special, and then I load the bullets.

Probably. I have that with bullets designed for 9mm before. I size my bullets to .358" for .38 and .357, but it depends on each firearm. If the fit isn't great, you may get some leading, but that's easy to clean out. It is certainly worth trying. If you don't like the results, you can add a second layer of powder coat, and that should increase the diameter by ~.002".
