Linda' I use Mozilla, your Brave browser is based on Mozilla and uses the same software packages. Your old settings/bookmarks may still be in your home folder under /home/linda/.mozilla/firefox/Someletters.default-release . Just look around for it. The dot in front of .mozilla makes it a hidden folder. Look online on how to transfer your old settings to a new install, the procedure will be the same. I just have to rename the "Someletters.default-release " to the NewLetters.default-releas, and restart the browser. Of course make a backupof your default-release before you start.
