Isaiah 50:7 | A Flint Stone in the Judean Wilderness | Biblical Context Explained

What can a flint stone in the Judean wilderness teach us about Jesus? The prophet Isaiah gives us a hint when he quotes the Lord in Isaiah 50:7: “Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.” In this section of Scripture, God is referring to the things that will happen to the Messiah during the Passion Week. And because flint is known for its hardness and strength, we can be assured that we’ll find those same qualities in our Savior.
