Intro to Reloading: Powder Selection and Charge Weight

Continuing on with my 'Intro to Reloading' series of videos, I cover a simple method of choosing a great powder and charge weight based on your bullet selection. I refer to the 9th edition Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading in the video. Although, many different companies make great manuals as well. I suggest selecting a manual that has charge weights available for the exact bullet you plan to shoot. Finding one that is close may work, but that it's a risk you take if you decide to do so. I prefer to err on the side of caution when dealing with bullets and gunpowder for obvious reasons. ...and for your safety, please never use handload recipes found online unless you can verify they are safe via a published manual. Let's try and return from each range session with all our fingers and eyes we arrived with. :)
