I finally got the chance to upgrade my firearm maintenance/knife sharpening/project bench. I tend to get a lot of projects rolling all at once and real estate is always a premium. To me, the most important feature any work bench can have is the Flush Mount Quick Change Base Plate by Inline Fabrication. Don't just think of Inline Fabrication as a reloading related product. It's more! It' a tool with multi-functions. Anybody that works with wood (especially if your skilled with a router) or someone who works on automotive projects, knife sharpening or anything, this is a quality piece of equipment that will enable you to more wisely use your bench space and I highly recommend it.

While installing two Flush Mount Quick Change Base Plates onto my bench I made a simple video. If you have questions, feel free to join https://www.76highboy.com/ and ask. Below are a few tips to help you install this piece of equipment onto your bench. I hope this helps.

God bless,
Highboy

1) Take your time and enjoy the process.
2) Route the bench so the edge of the plate cantilevers over the edge of the bench exactly 1 1/2".
3) Route EXACTLY 7/16" deep into the bench.
4) Unless your plate was already mounted with existing holes, it is best to route first and then drill.
5) If your holes were already drilled, simply nail your jig to the bench before unfastening the plate from the bench.
6) Measure twice, cut once!!!
