I've heard stories of Polish border guards turning away "Ukrainians". The Irish would be so discerning? I think not

By the way, does anyone else feel that the numbers of refugees here is a little bit out of proportion. The country is huge. Why can they not be accommodated within camps in their own country? I wouldn't leave Ireland if it were invaded...

Your opening could not have been timed better. I made a big decision to move somewhere in the middle of the Rona but I made it in haste and came to regret it. Now I'm looking to move but falling into the same thinking of rushing/panicking to get there. I actually wrote down what you said to remind myself & not balls it up this time.
