Lyrics:

My soul doth wait for God and God alone,
For He alone brings me salvation,
He alone is for me a sure foundation,
He alone affords me refuge and protection,
So that I stand immovable in Him alone.

How long will ye, oh man, evil and mischief plot?
Before ye come, like a leaning wall, swiftly to naught?
Ye flatter men only to them betray,
Ye delight in lies oppression and robbery,
Ye conspire even against God on high,
But very soon, ye all shall die.

Set not your heart on hoarded gold,
For the wealthy elite are a vain façade:
Their influence carries no weight with God!
And the working masses are just as vain,
No real power do they wield or retain,

But power belongs to God on high,
Who rules the earth in His mercy,
And power belongs to God on high:
Every man will answer for his own deeds someday.
