How To Get Rid Of Minimum Wage Employees

Aldi, the grocery store corporation has an interesting way of handling the collection and returning of shopping carts to the front of the store. Instead of paying an employee to handle it, they incentives the customer to do it themselves. For one quarter, the customer and borrow a cart. If the customer returns the cart to the front of the store, they get their quarter back. SIMPLE!

But does this mean Aldi doesn't need to employ as many minimum wage employee simultaneously? My assumption is yes.
