How to Cook Mogo Chips | Maggi Tamarind Sauce Review

Important Note:
Cassava roots, peels and leaves should not be consumed raw because they contain two cyanogenic glucosides, linamarin and lotaustralin. So it must always be cooked thoroughly before consumption.

I was introduced to these wonderful chips by an old army friend who had lived in Uganda. Mogo chips are popular all over East Africa and beyond, and deservedly so.

Other names for cassava include manioc, tapioca and yucca.
