Holy Mother Church and Saint Joseph

Holy Mother Church gave us birth…she brought us forth from the womb of the baptismal font. Mother Church then fed us with the very Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Her Lord and Spouse. She heals us in the confessional by providing us absolution even for the worst of mortal sins. Mother Church strengthens us with Confirmation. She provides us priests so that the fruits of redemption can be spread and applied to countless souls especially when those same priests offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and re-present the Sacrifice of Calvary upon the altar in an unbloody manner. The Church also provides the Sacrament of Marriage for the baptized couple. She will also be with us towards the end with the extreme unction and the last indulgence of all, the Apostolic Pardon, so that we can cope with the remains of sin and deal with the fear of death at the end. Our Holy Mother the Church will even be there after death and will pray for the faithful departed until the end of the world. And if we do attain salvation and the beatific vision of heaven it will be due to Holy Mother Church, for outside her no one…and I mean no one…can be saved. If I am saved, I will owe Christ my Lord, as well as my Mother, the Catholic Church, for they as one Mystical Person provided me the means to reach my proper end.
