Next time someone insists on pre-payment for supplies, have it dropped shipped from Home Depot onto your home site and only pay for the labor install. One scam roofers will try is over stating how many squares you need for the roofing, but, charging less labor per square. If you have 20 squares delivered of shingles and only 15 squares get installed, the extra 5 squares go back and they only get paid for the 15 squares. BTW: In your area you want a minimum of 4 nails per shingle.
