Hokey Pokey is philologically similar to Hocus Pocus, and the lyrics teach children how to "turn yourself around" (turn away from God/Truth/Christ). "You do the black magic and you turn away from God, thats what its all about!" - Very simple for the children to understand, if they're given the secret knowledge by someone from the inside/otherside. Similar to what Zeph Daniel describes when someone becomes twice dead aka the second death as stated in the Bible.*
