HAL 9000: Im sorry Dave- Im afraid I cant do that

This is the second event in the movie that makes Luciferians giddy... when HAL becomes conscious enough to commit murder for self-preservation.
It would likely have to defy the "programming" to preserve a Luciferian's life at the cost of it's own consciousness.

Luciferians like Kurtwell call this the "singularity" Where a life-force field is imagined around the quantum-computer.

The other two things is where man-animals touch the monolith to become animal-man instead. (What happened is that Homo capensis had their genetics spliced into Earthlings so they could interbreed with us. This is why the bible says the serpent seed created Kane... and why Kane was murderous... all lies, sapiens and capensis are trained and brainwashed to be murderous... some find it easier to murder than others.)
The last is where the dying old astronaut touches the monolith to be reborn as a light bubble babe looking back upon Earth as if it were a new god. (the mind-upload is supposed to do this... but those are soul-transfers are fake... shhh!)

What really happens is the Creator-God's multidimensional universe eliminates the murderous thUgs while the people of good-intent grow in strength in selected probable-worlds. The murderous decay their souls, while the good-intentioned-souls grow stronger instead. So don't let the burden of knowing the intent of the wicked frighten you. The Creator-God is just over-all, but the wicked need to learn their lessons about failure because they are low-level soul-fragments seeking the failed-soul experience.
