Google Software Engineer Charged With Murder After Allegedly Beating Wife to Death

Google employee Liren Chen was taken into custody and charged with murder after he was allegedly found on his knees “spattered in blood” and his hands were “extremely swollen and purple.” When police arrived at Chen's house after someone called for a welfare check, they found Chen and his wife’s dead body in the home. Chen was later hospitalized and has yet to face trial.
