What if we were to literally give to anyone who asks us? It seems obvious to us that such an approach just wouldn't work in the real world, and yet it's something Jesus commanded as per Matthew 5:42. What is the correct Christian response?

One practical way to experiment with this teaching is to trial literally giving to those who ask for a day, and then see what happens. You may be surprised by the results!
