Today's Gospel passage, of the triple temptation suffered by Jesus Christ during his forty days in the desert.
It is masterfully explained in this catechesis by Fulton J. Sheen, an elegant Knight of God that the Christian people had in the last century: the (soon to be) Blessed Fulton Sheen, American Archbishop.
In this masterful catechesis of his, not only is the topic of temptation limpidly addressed, without today's but then non-existent, political correctness, but it sheds an enlightening light on what is the spiritual and theological analysis of diabolical temptations, their effects and origins, amid liberalism, relativism and the secularization of ecclesiastical pastoral care.

In questa sua magistrale catechesi, non solo viene limpidamente affrontato il tema delle tentazioni, senza l'odierno ma allora inesistente, politicamente corretto, ma getta un'illuminante luce su quella che è l'analisi spirituale e teologica delle tentazioni diaboliche, dei loro effetti e delle loro origini, tra liberismo, relativismo e laicizzazione della Pastorale ecclesiastica.
