I contacted environment Canterbury asking what they are doing about the contaminated site and whether we are still in danger. They rejected responsibility and referred me to health and safety in the work place.

Now two months later I finally got a reply but while they did say the site had now been cleared I don't feel the risk that the general public was put at was adequately dealt with and neither was it explained why this was not considered in the public interest. You can read their conclusion here:

I'm also concerned about the way Adam's citizen journalism is being stifled and deplatformed. I shall be writing more on my own website as things unfold and it's time to put the pressure on the authorities.
