FN FNS: Good as Glock? [Full Review]

FN’s slogan is “The World’s Most Battle Proven Firearms” and it delivers on this with its military contracts. It also calls its pistols “RELIABLE–ANYTIME–ANYWHERE.” Maybe it’s time to see if one of its combat pistol offerings will uphold the FN reputation. We run the FNS9 here and see how it does. Testing was all accomplished in desert conditions. Some surprising reliability issues arose early then went away in additional outings. With this we began to trust the FNS9. We liked its lightweight, amazing accuracy, CHF barrel, ergos, good trigger, sights, and feel, all covered here in this GRV. Value is excellent as the buyer gets a cool case, three mags, and tritium sights in the version shown. A couple of well known competitive options are also contrasted in helping to answer if the FNS pistol can be trusted as a GTW option.
