Palo, Alangalang, Santa Fe, and Tanauan towns in Leyte province experience flooding due to continuous heavy rainfall last night.

Some LGUs suspended work and classes as affected areas experience power interruption and many roads remain unpassable.
Rescue teams conducted rescue and evacuation operations to affected residents like in Caloogan town where a senior citizen was trapped at the roof of his flooded house.
