Excam TA38 Derringer good for CCW or self-defense? No way!
This little Excam (Tanarmi) TA38 Derringer is a curious piece of history and fun to shoot. However, these guns were made very poorly and are not suitable for self-defense, in my humble opinion. If treated with care and fired with light cowboy loads and light target loads only, these little guns can be fun to shoot for recreation. However, they should not be fired with powerful self-defense or +P ammunition.
