I’ve personally owned a Evanix Sniper .45 caliber for a couple for years. Recently I’ve been able to put my hands on the new Moderated Sniper X2 and can say with authority it really does take the sniper line to a whole new level. The Evanix Sniper X2 takes the reliability of their traditional sniper platform and incorporates a 480cc carbon fiber reservoir that’s fillable up to 250 bar. This means you get more shots and more power right out of the box. This version also includes an integrated barrel shroud and moderator which is much quieter than the unmoderated version.

Regarding performance, our test rifle is getting up to 150 foot pounds in .35 caliber using the 81.02 grain JSB pellets. That’s large game hunting territory. What’s more impressive is that the X2 platform can deliver 2 full magazines on target equaling 14 very consistent shots in .35 caliber and can delivers 1” accuracy at 50 yards and with practice and the right guy behind the trigger it has the ability to reach all the way out to 200 yards.

The smooth side lever action is extremely easy to work and makes cocking and loading a breeze. The large magazine is able to accept various cast ammo as well as traditional .35 caliber pellets. Making this a very versatile hunting or target shooting platform.
