Here is wisdom (from God)

Let him that has understanding COUNT THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST: for it is the number of --a-- man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six.

And he said unto them, "Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own TRADITION."

“Making the word of God of none effect through your TRADITION, which you have delivered: and many such like things you do.”

But he answered and said unto them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your TRADITION?”

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the TRADITION of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

"Vicarius Filii Dei" is the beast mocking (Blaspheming) God, but it does not lead one to the knowledge of the mark of the beast as does the 'tradition' of men.
Sunday worship is of the traditions and commandments of men.
(The phrase was not even present in our vocabulary until 753 A.D.)

--Obviously you can not have victory over the beast, unless you are here on earth to live through it.

"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
{Matthew 15:8-9}

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
{Titus 1:16}

This is the beast thinking to change times and laws of God.

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
{2 Thessalonians 2:9}

This is satans representative, not satan himself appearing. He is already here and his throne is in Rome. The antichrist received his power and great authority from satan.
