Electric Dreams (1984) A.I. Computer Becomes Songwriter
Electric Dreams (1984)
An architect (named Miles) decides to modernize his life by buying a computer. After dropping it, spilling champagne on it and cross-wiring it (torture) something amazing happens -- the computer gains self-awareness. Eventually the A.I. computer creates songs for Miles.
This concept is comparable to Donald Marshall's testimony, a magical juke-box that you kick and a song comes out. The title "Electric Dreams" makes me think of cloning centers using technology to infiltrate humanity's R.E.M. sleep stage.
Job 33:14-16
"For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,"
