Eight Year Old Hiking With the Lightweight Pack Wheel Hiking Cart

July 13, 2012: My eight-year-old son is hiking with a small handle sized Pack Wheel that is carrying 30 pounds of camping gear. This size and configuration of Pack Wheel has a disk brake and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. The handle can easily be removed with no tools and Velcro strapped to the frame for easy transport and storage.
