This guy done a great job demonstrating that shadows PROVE the moon is not a sphere!
And he makes an excellent point that artists have "Eyes trained to SEE" also!
He's a kind of "New Age" guy, so be careful if you watch any of his other videos. I believe my bible! You can keep your "knowledge" of that type!

I'm not trying to knock him though, he's walking his path.
He did an excellent job on this video!

So go by his channel and give the video a "like" and SHARE!
Just always use your discernment and keep to your biblical principles!

You have to realize that he is not considering the incredible distance light travels to reach us from the Sun. If you use a pencil and a light bulb, as he did, to show the shadow, of course the shadow will be sharp when close and will very quickly get more diffused as you increase the distance from the shadow cast. But, just go outside on a sunny day and look at the shadow you cast. The shadow is just as defined by your feet as by the shadow of your head. The eclipse will display the same effect because of this distance.

The second observation not taken into consideration is what is called 'Point of View'. The shadow he is casting on his sphere is being filmed from an angle which will show a different shadow than if you held the camera in line with the object creating the shadow on the sphere. If he did this it would look just like what we see during the lunar eclipse even though the object is a sphere. If you were by chance observing an eclipse from space, the farther away from Earth you were the more the eclipse would change because of the spherical shape of the moon. You can do this at home with a very bright LED flashlight to put some distance (+100 ft) from the objects and look at both the change of the shadow when viewing at an angle compared to looking as close to in line with the flashlight. Also, you will notice the diffusing of the shadow is much less even at this short distance, which is nothing compared to the distance light travels from the Sun.
