Hospitals in Texas are claiming they are private operations so will mask mandate, but I agree that masks are for surgery where the surgeon might sneeze into the patient in surgery or a knife could splatter patient blood into the the surgeon's mouth or his helpers and this was the reason they invented surgical masks....Other masks like for asbestos have to be stronger...N95 grade it's called....this is not for blood splatters it's for dust that can't be seen where the particles contain asbestos.....Look up K"asbestos abatement" and see the heavy suits and masks the worker have to wear just to take a ceiling down.
