Daniel Andrews 'never had a real job and doesn't understand profit and loss'

ACU Senior Research Fellow Dr Kevin Donnelly says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews never had a real job and doesn’t understand profit and loss.

“(Daniel Andrews) went straight from university into the Labor Party,” Mr Donnelly told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“He’s what we used to call an apparatchik.”

“He’s never had a real job, he doesn’t understand profit and loss, he doesn’t have that worry or stress of going to bed at night and waking up thinking can I survive this.”

Dr Donnelly said the strategies the premier was using were very much like Big Brother from George Orwell’s novel 1984.

“It’s just amazing how it’s like socialism 101,” he said.
