Connor (staff) vs. Matt (sword)

This was our first time ever including quarterstaff into our sparring. Tried a couple of different approaches to beating staff with longsword. THIS IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF REAL QUARTER STAFF COMBAT.

Connor could exploit the openings and show that he could, but yes, much more control had to be practiced with staff, due to its almost nuclear advantage over the sword.

We mainly just wanted to see what it felt like having a staff in our face when all we have is a sword.
