Carrying a round in the chamber

Carry your weapon the way you feel most comfortable. This discussion is for assholes. My memory isn't the greatest. Sometimes I forget where I put my car keys. Sometimes I forget me and my girl's anniversary. Sometimes I forget to put the garbage cans on garbage day. So yes I walk around with my chamber empty because it make ME feel better. That is one more safety measure for me. I have seen too many people have ADs because they thought " the safety was on " when they were handling their gun. I also keep my head on a swivel and practice situational awareness everywhere I go. You carry your gun the way you feel is most comfortable for you. One more bit then I am out. There are a lot of young children who have died because an adult left a gun lying around with a round in the chamber. All the young child had to do it pick up the gun, play around with it until he or she managed to accidentally disengage the safety , then boom , another little white coffin funeral. Some of these experts on the internet mean well. Some of them even know what they are talking about. The important thing is to train, train, train and carry your firearm the way that makes the most sense to you.
