Bloomin Fried Onion.

What happens when you plant the root bottom of a store bought onion? Decided to try it and see the results. Thought it would regenerate and grow an edible onion or seeds.
When in the merry month of June the temperature got to 90 degrees it affected the plant and after a streak over lasting over 40 days some at 108 the poor thing began to dry out.
You can see the scruff look to the flower.
Well the results were disappointing.
