Bihar Police Bill Explained | Creation of a Police State? | The Deshbhakt with Akash Banerjee

Unprecedented scenes were witnessed in the Bihar Assembly - as the Nitish Kumar Govt force-passed the New Bihar Police Bill - that basically aims to transform the Bihar Military Police into a sophisticated armed force with virtually no court oversight - reporting direct to the state govt.
The Opposition RJD has opposed this tooth and nail and for good reason - this is as open as it gets while trying to make a police state and also obvious suppression of voices under the guise of Public Order.
